I was going to say something clever about politicians and budgets this
week, but nothing I said could do justice to the bald faced insanity that
has occurred. Any vestige of believability or perception of even the
slightest honesty that politicians might have had has now vanished out the
window. In Australia now, the word "politician" means guaranteed lies,
deceit, self service, and money grubbing ideology. Bring on the revolution
...

Golfer Falls Down ...
A woman was playing golf when she took a big swing and fell.
The party waiting behind her was a group from Canberra that included Tony
Abbot.
Abbot quickly stepped forward and helped her to her feet.
She thanked him and started to leave, when he said,"I'm Tony Abbot and I
hope you'll vote for me in the next Federal Election."
She laughed and said, "I fell on my ar*e, not my head!"

This collection belongs to Dennis Albaugh in Ankeny , Iowa , just north of
Des Moines ...
The personal and private collection consists of 110+ Chevrolet
convertibles...
All years from 1912 to 1975 and Corvette convertibles from 1953 to 1975.
That is a Chevy convertible from every year of manufacture EXCEPT 1939...
The reason? - Chevy didn't make a convertible in '39 -- and ended its
convertible line in '75!
His 'boy toys' include his own 18 hole golf course, copied somewhat after
Augusta National.
He is what you call a REAL Chevy guy, but his passion seems to be
convertibles !
This billionaire made his fortune selling farm chemicals !
This is enough to make a grown man CRY!!!!

This week, 69 years ago, Nazi Germany surrendered to the Allied forces (7th
May 1945). This was the European end to the largest war ever fought in
history, including up until today. So many lives lost in this awful war. It
was during this week that Hitler was found dead, having taken the coward's
way out. These are the historic photos of those that braved into the
bunker, of the most terrible man in history.
